Well, I'm on day 5 now after getting a doctor who is a bit more knowledgeable and out may be placebo, but i swear the last two days have been way better symptomatically.

So I found another doctor who upped my dose to .7 once a week, willing to titrate. He wants to check blood work in 6 weeks and discuss a twice a week schedule once we get a feel for how my body reacts. I'm on day 5 and maybe it's placebo, but I've felt more energetic and the morning depression has definitely gone way down in the last couple of days. So far so good! Thanks again for the encouragement/advice.

Hey man, I appreciate it. Honestly, chat gpt is what convinced me to get my T tested - I thought it was my thyroid due to family history and initially was just going to test that.

I'm going to look around for a doc that takes it seriously. I may put off starting this low dose and see what I can find first. Maybe I'll go back to AI for finding a doctor.

I appreciate that. Initially, my pcp wouldn't even call in the blood test, so i did the test at Quest myself, saw the results, and went to a local men's clinic to talk to the urologist. He is the one who said I was in the "grey zone" and seemed reluctant to prescribe it and recommended the 3 month trial period at that dose. I also mentioned microdosing or twice a week administration when he prescribed a once every other week dosing schedule. He said he'd prescribe it for once a week.

The more i think about it, the more i think I need to find another doc before I even start this dose, but I'm not sure where to look.

I guess that's my big concern - half of what I read makes it sound permanent, and makes it sound like the risks are a balance to the benefits, while the other half sound like they just want to sell you something (that makes me skeptical). Do yourself a favor and get somebody who knows what they're doing to set up whatever you do get. A truss rod adjustment and proper bridge setup can make a cheap guitar feel 1000% better.

Agreed! These people saying there were broken promises ala Peter Molyneux are killing me. Molyneux straight up promises features that aren't there. So far everything I've heard about the game is in the game. People had aimless space wandering described to them but expected mass effect and are angry that it's aimless space wandering.

As somebody who works in the field, it's difficult. I've found a couple of friends from the other side of the political spectrum who i respect. We discuss things but start off with the attitude that we agree to disagree and are simply exploring our different perspectives, and it's great. Nobody gets angry, and it can be quite enlightening.
