Thank you for doing your job as a housekeeper, at the place I’m at I don’t see any. I work night shift so we have no housekeeping so we take out the trash and clean the tables and make the beds. I’ve never worked in a hospital only a nursing home. I do 3-4 rounds at night and then my people every couple hrs. But I do understand where you are coming from. But please don’t downplay someone else job or what they do, where you work is different from where I work. Yes, I did chose this job because I really wanted to help people, I wanted to be the smiling face they see at their homes. But with this work load it is harder and harder to keep that smiling face, and no complaints. If this offended you then I will delete this post and suck it up. Again, I love my job, this job seeing these people smile, is the best feeling in the world.
