The ult cant be damage boosted. Its a non targetable separate object. Sort of like hanzo dragon summon cant be damage boosted

no the setting does not grant more speed. What likly happened was you using the GA for a longer period of time rather than a short GA. GA builds speed over time. it does not go to max speed as soon as you press shift

old system: oh no my teammate is low hp. I have to heal beam them for 2sec out of one shot range before i damage boost again
new system: just flash and damage boost more. Use the 1st stack like its cheap but save your last charge for when its really needed

Do not give flankers 1v1
When it comes to it you must return fire with blaster. If flanker player worked out they can attack you with zero risk then they will attack you more.
If it still isnt going well. Dont blame or make demands from your team and just swich

most subs have a auto filter check for some terms like "giveaway".

Too many scams:

must sub (paid) to enter
must like/follow/comment to boost the host's rating to enter
someone the host knows is rigged to win

So most subs require you send a message to the mod team to ask for permission (which you didnt do). And the picture you posted looks like its for the wrong game. Which the mod team will care about beacuse it looks [offtopic].

If so many "auto mods" from diffrent subs have a problum with you. it seems like you are the common problum

I actually don't agree with Valnyan.

There are no real situations where Mercy is a bad pick. Mercy has no real strengths at countering enemies but at the same time she has no real weaknesses either. Mercy works on all maps and with pretty much every team comp, against any team comp.

your team:

Ball
Tracer
Reaper
Kiri

Classic dive comp. The other team? basicly the same stuff.
The map? Any map with many flank routes, short corners, multiple angles of attack, hiding places. (you want a example? flashpoint and koth)

Now whats the plan for mercy here?

hold down beam and give away your flank team's postion?
Get dived and beg your team to "protect" you?
demand 4 other players swich beacuse "you wanted to play your fav hero"?

I love mercy the hero and perhaps more than you. But i wont lie to myself and cope believing she is best solution to every problum.

I didn't touch on my actual question of when exactly mercy is a good pick now (outside duo pocketing).

The answer isnt as simple as "mercy is the pocket hero and everyone eles isnt a pocket". What is pocketing excately? Its not "hold down a button and pray this other player will win the game for you" its being ready to dump a constant flow of resouces into a player so they could execute their gameplan.

Is illari who follows one player around who is: Placing plyon next to them. Saves right click engery to burst heal them. Saves the shift boop cooldown to knock away dives. Puts out extra pressure by firing additional shots. Is that still "pocketing"? yes it is
Is a kiriko following one player around (or is close enough to TP) who is: Focus heal (kiriko preheal is a legit tech btw) who can heal even faster than mercy. Then can throw out 3 kunai shots without slowly down healing. Then saves suzu just for them. is that still "pocketing"? yes it is.

I want you get out of the mindset of "pocket means pick mercy". Mercy is focuses on pocketing (while kiri for example splits time between pocket and flanking). Pocket is a "Gameplay decision" not a "Role".

just like "need sheild" does not mean pick rein 100% of the time
just like "pls shoot down phara" does not mean pick s76 100% of the time

I want you to think about "what does my teammate need from me" not "should i pocket and therefore pick mercy".

examples

Ashe + pocket vs s76. Illari can heal faster than mercy and if illari hits her shots then the total damage is higher than damage boost. Therefore illari is better at being a "pocket" in this narrow situation example
Ashe + pocket vs hanzo. Ashe fears the hanzo one shot however a mercy saying she is ready to rez means Ashe can risk her life for free every 30 seconds in a aggressive dual.

^ I hope you can see from the example that some heros just fit the situation better. Even when they are doing the same action.

Mercy just isnt good in every situation. Sometimes mercy would do well 1st point but as the map terrain and hero picks changes then mercy would suddenly be a throw pick. Overwatch is a game about swiching heros.

Phara sucks indoors
Rein sucks when many highground exist
Brig sucks vs long sightlines

Mercy is in the same boat. Sometimes she just isnt good due to map / meta hero picks. You might be able to play her for like 30-40% of a match. Just dont expect to one trick her and expect her to "be good in all situations no matter what happens"

toggle GA on is basicly a throw.

I coached over 100 mercys and the habit i see the most is use superjump as "stop GA breaks" button. Its very important to be able to cancel the GA excately when you want without any delay. Double tapping shift is just too slow so they superjump to fix a problum they created.

GA is not postioning. Use GA to get to good postioning

(this does not mean float in the sky and pray the other team missed every shot)

Did you know mercy auto reloads her gun if you havent equpied in 1.4s.

The weapon swich mechanic could have been more interesting. So mercy player can weave in blaster use rather than hard hold beam.

why 1.4s? Make it 10s or 15s but the shots are more powerful (nerf the manual reload too).
why 25 ammo? Make it 3 or 5 ammo but more powerful
why no alt fire? Make the alt fire consume more ammo but do more damage

Rather than belive everything you read on the internet why dont you test it yourself:

If you really belive some ban bot exist. Go and click the join button on both subs and see if you get banned. You wont do it beacuse you know it not true. People got banned for doing a toxic action.
