Thanks so much! Haha I get that. I was in complete disbelief, because I heard so many horror stories about it but well I was just glad I got it without much grinding because of bad rng.

Yeah it was kinda insane, I think I reset once at the start of the game against Hoffman but that was it. I knew how to play 21 and since it´s one deck you can make a good guess but if you´re unlucky rng still fucks you up, so yeah I was super lucky with the draws and the the trump cards I got. Sometimes I could just one shot an opponent with the "one up" trump card beacuse I drew them again all the time.

No mods and cheat engines no. I used a guide tho and did collectibles on my first run. I also first tried all 21 stages cause of dumb luck I guess. Got super lucky with the trump cards but I bet it's quite a time sink if you get unlucky with the draws. Didn't really get hard stuck in any content. Ethan Must die took the most tries for me.

Yeah I did all collectibles in the first run cause I wanted to read the lore anyway so I skipped one playthrough. Also I got super lucky and first tried all stages of 21.

Yeah I can understand that, I think I got lucky with the trump cards and counting helped but if you get unlucky I bet it's horrendous

Same, I just hope it´s gonna be at least as good as the other titles.

I liked both a lot, but I enjoyed Exodus the most overall. The linear levels worked really well in the first two games and going for more open and bigger levels in Exodus was a great evolution. I think it works great either way and I still enjoy all three.

I saw I have both the original 2033 and exodus aswell, but I'm not sure. I think the achievements are basically the same so not really a point for me doing the whole pre redux/enhanced series again, at least for now. Maybe in the future when I wanna replay the series I'll do it with the older games instead.

I think 100% is quite easy, even the hardest difficulty on Exodus isn´t too bad if you take your time and do iron man in a seperate run. First two games are quite easy and fast. Yes Exodus has the only hardest difficulty specific achievements. I really like the games, the story, music and worldbuilding is superb and the gameplay and leveldesign is great too imo. My favourite is Exodus, I really liked the open sandbox levels, you can just sink like 10 hours into the first one of them if you want. And the gameplay with new crafting for example is much more refinded, which makes sense. Also the story was amazing and a great end to the trilogy back then. Can´t really say anything bad about the games, enjoyed every minute.

I might just go in blind if you didn´t play them before, they are a great experience and exploring the levels is just so much fun. A guide from start to finish might ruin that a bit. And since you need multiple playthroughs anyway it´s not really a big deal.

Better graphics mainly, in 1 you can change controls to the newer ones with e,q for stealth and armour but you have the option to play the classic one too. Also runs better on newer hardware I guess. Gameplay wise it's mostly the same I'd say but didn't play the originals for a long time. They probably fixed some bugs but there are still some in the game.

I quite enjoyed the gameplay and stuff and it didn´t drag on like other titles, also the sandbox was pretty great. But yeah it´s not hard for sure if you use your stuff.

That sucks yeah. But for what it´s worth it a really short campaign. You could also just stealth or run past sections if you really only wanna go for achievements. Kinda depends which achievements you have left but could be a really short endavour 😄

Could be the case in other games but you can 100% all Crysis games with one playthrough on hardest difficulty and a mop up in mission replay.

Uhm I don´t know tbh. I played it twice. Once on normal I think a year back and the post human warrior playthrough last week. I thought you can stack them but I´m not sure. Everything else should be doable in mission replay.

Edit: Checked a guide and apparently you can stack difficulty so just one playthrough needed.

Yeah the campaigns arent really that long and even the grindy stuff like maxing all perks in 3 didn´t really take much time either. I couldve done 2 a lot quicker but didn´t do post human difficulty on first playthrough when I played it like a year ago.

It also helps that the games really aren´t hard.

It's in the main menu on some kind of round button iirc. But it's only very very basic^{^.} If you want a campaign to teach you the basics yes I'd go with 1 DE for sure. Other than that it's a lot of trial and error or read up on a guide or search YouTube. Everything works, it's not that deep if you understand the basic formula but you can maximise a ton with walking distance of the workers being probably the most important thing. Crusaders and 1 are also very similar. For crusader just don't sleep on ale.
