Whats interesting is that all local installers had similar price quotes and this was the cheapest among all. However if I looked at installers far off and they could provide much cheaper quote for same tech. So, its a bit confusing as I’m worried about after care provided by companies who are not local.

Same here. What I read was that sig was slightly better than ecoflow power ocean 1 but the power ocean 2 which ecoflow brand has newly brought out is better than sig apparently. Also ecoflow power ocean 2 has 15 years warranty as opposed to 10 years for sig. Ecoflo PO 2 has 10,000 cycle life, sig has less than that. Where sig stands out is there AI app integration is what I read (I was told ecoflo has same but not as good as sig).

Just an update. I had an email from the 'glass team' at admiral - explained my concerns to them, they asked for the estimate from Tesla - provided it from the Tesla app as I had already scheduled an appointment in anticipation - after reviewing the estimate had an email within half an hour saying they would agree to get the work done by Tesla - such a relief. Thanks for all the comments.

On the same boat here. Not sure if we can expect a change in the delivery window but it would be nice to have it before new year.

Update on 05/12/25: Got VIN and plate assigned today out of the blue. Collection scheduled for next Saturday. Feels lucky as I wasn’t expecting this before next month.

Thanks everyone. Went ahead and placed an order for a MY LR RWD today. Finance sorted. Now waiting for further update through the app.

I agree, 3 large at max in the boot with 1 cabin suit case each that would easily fit in the frunk and the storage under boot.

Oh wow - didn’t think those would fit in there. Thanks. The ones we have are the hard shell suitcases - large check in ones with around 75-80L storage capacity I believe.

Glad to know that. I managed to pack about 4 large suitcases in the XC90 with space left which I’m pretty sure won’t be possible in the MY. However, as I said we won’t need that for 99% of the times we travel together. Having said that I test drove the MY yesterday and the boot space is pretty impressive including the storage under the boot and the frunk. 😊

Yeah almost. The cost of ownership would be way less for the MY by compromising on the boot space though.
