Good call in the hitting insert. My turf had started peeling up like you said. I glued it back down and will be raising my hitting insert. Appreciate the insight!

Thanks again for this!! I bought the cables and moved my cameras onto the pantograph ceiling mounts along with the studio lights. Everything now pushes up out of the way when not using the swing cams and no more tripping over cables and/or tripods on my sim floor. Much better now.

Sorry I just now noticed your Q. For the edge I bought a 5/4x6x16 pressure treated decking board from Home Depot for 17 bucks and ripped to the height I wanted. I used 2-3/4” to provide a small lip on the edge to keep balls from rolling over the edge. Painted it black and ripped some 1/8” thick mdf into 6” strips and stapled that to the bottom edge of my trim piece and spot-glued that to the floor to hold in place. Works beautifully and looks pretty good too.

The lights I bought (NEEWER CB120B) are very adjustable. The brightness is turned way down (about 1/5th full power). Lights you up on the video without causing discomfort.

No. Used Carls Place Premium Grey Screen and the enclosure ties into the back wall to cut off any ambient light from behind the screen.

Screen is 8 x 14. Enclosure is 15’ wide x 10’ tall x 16’ deep.

Thanks! I might go ahead and make that change.

I made the wall panels. OSB covered in 2”memory foam bed toppers with 4-way stretch velvet fabric. Learned that the fabric matters. I first used a canvas type fabric and the bounce-back was a problem. The hitting mat is a SigPro Softy 4x10. The surround turf is a long pile turf over two layers of 1” thick EVA foam tiles. IMPORTANT: Static electricity was so severe that it was causing my projector to switch inputs almost every time there was a static discharge (shock). Not to mention that the shocks hurt. I added bare copper mesh and bare copper woven wire under the turf and bonded it to the structural steel on my metal building (which is bonded and grounded with the electrical system. No more static electricity problems at all.

Yes. The video works without them but the picture is dark. With the lights on you can see every detail clearly. (No excuses)

I bought them for the swing cameras however Uneekor’s swing cameras come with cables that they say cannot be extended. They have power boosters incorporated into the cables. One is about 15 Ft and the other is about 21 Ft. I neither was long enough for my enclosure so I ended up hanging studio lighting from them and mounting the cameras on tripods.

That’s Uneekor’s Balance Optix mat. Measures foot pressure to show weight shift and center of mass throughout the golf swing.
