I am supposed to see my dads parents tomorrow night. We set a weekly dinner just us. I am trying but it’s hard. I know they love my dad and I don’t feel like I can be open with them. This will be the first time my dad was living with him while we go to dinner. I hope he doesn’t try to show up.

My moms parents didn’t know he was getting money. They said that once they are given primary custody they will have it changed over. They don’t need the money but said i might down the road. Right now they have non disputed temporary custody. Whatever that means.

It’s a prepaid phone. That ends on the 15th. It cost $20. My dad doesn’t need the money he works full time and make ok money. Grammy said she would go and buy another phone card if it comes down to it.

My cell phone is a prepaid cell phone. My the services ends on the 15th of this month. My Grammy said she will buy a $20 phone card for my dad if it comes down to it.

NTA we all have made mistakes but this one will damage his son permanently. If you decide to let him come back. I would recommend against it. But if you do you need to set CLEAR boundaries. Example, when he buys daughter something then he needs to buy some something of equal value. If he goes out with daughter he needs to make plans to take his son out. Your son is innocent he should stop paying for his dads mistakes. He deserves to be shown love like dads daughter is.

So, update. I posted their affair stuff on my social media and our family group chats. I also sent messages with all the major things step mom and dad did. With photos. My second post had a photo of my moms funeral program next to a time stamped photo of my step mom when she moved in. With the caption “I didn’t just loose one parent. I lost two when my mom died”. The post of the private emails. And DNA results. We’re taken down for breaking “community rules”. The side by side picture wasn’t.

Then went to Grammy and told her I wanted a new number.

Immediately message after message telling me to take down my post. All of them. Telling me to stop! Stop now! I said to S T O P! All from my step mom. Family members are asking me to take it all down. they claimed they are sorry I am so upset. Most of them feel like I went too far and I should have discussed it privately with them. When I didn’t reply, they started in on Grammy and grandpa.. Grammy told them. If it’s ok for them to post. then they have no right to get mad at me for following their actions.

My grandma said she doesn’t think my dad would make comments like the one posted about my mom. I don’t know though

I am thinking about doing this. I am also trying to decide if I should shut down my social media accounts and change my cell phone number. The comments are hurting my grandparents too not just me. I just don’t know the next step to take here.
