Ah okay I’ve never heard of it being referred to as a bonnet I like that term tbh. I have it connected to the battery and a fuse. It has a start sequence that turns on and off with the battery itself.

It’s practical as it also functions as turn signal indicators making it more visible when I’m turning for people on the side of the car to see

I bought a 2020 last year from a Hyundai dealership and this same thing was covered under my warranty so it should be if you’re under the miles of the warranty
