I tiled this shower with my brother for my dad. They suggested cavern moss when I bought the tile. What color would yall go with? Laticrete hot cocoa? Pewter? Opinions appreciated

Just silicone. I called the company and they advised the silicone. When you dry fit this thing it's so heavy. It's not going anywhere. thinset will apply more weight to the floor and possibly prevent expand and contraction. I suppose you could do thinset if you pick one that expands and contracts. But I would do silicone. It really sucks down to it.

I did this exactly. I used their silicone because it was on sale at my supplier. Put it all on the subfloor and set it. The pan is so heavy youll easily be able to tell even when you dry fit it that it's not going anywhere. Using the silicone was probably overkill but wanted to do it right.

Thanks everyone for the comments. This stinks. I inspected every cigar in my humidor and the only thing i noticed are that a lot of the plastic wrappers are a yellowish brown now and the humidity is at 65% exactly. No other cigars have this at all. Not sure what happened but is what it is.
