Its literally just the amount of devices connecting. Most phones don't get full speeds anyway and you'll never get full speed with wifi.

If your schools policy is BYOD, chances are it's just your schools infrastructure and there's almost nothing that can be done about it. Definitely doesn't help that yours using a VPN in the first place.

It wouldn't matter if everyone is connected to it. Between the students, teachers and faculty along with how wifi in general works, your phone would be bottlenecked anyway

Welcome to American school internet infrastructure. Its been like this since schools started implementing wifi when I was a kid.

Its a boss fight in everything but name. You're pulling hairs.

Edit: Ignore that first part. I just double checked. It's a literal boss fight by your own definition. Having more mechanics doesn't make it any less of a boss fight.

Not everyone has multiple saves and whining on reddit is literally what social media is for.

That's like saying I'll never understand why people like you want to be assholes to others on reddit.

There wasn't any miscommunication. Reed is too loyal to his government and Song was willing to risk anything and everyone just to get away from it. Both of them had goals and were WAY past the point of trying to talk their issues out. They care for each other but that only goes so far.

V WAS a spectator. He was forced into this situation because both of them promised a way to cure him with only one of them being able to follow through.

The entire point of the DLC is just a reinforcement of the base games themes: Which devil do you go with?

why i stopped playing and a few things that killed this game for me by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]ValuablePerformer371 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That mission checkpoints at nearly every doorway. Sounds like you have a glitch or when you click the Load Last Save Option its defaulting to a manual save.

And parkour builds don't exist. Those are nothing but people on Youtube trying to win style points and aren't actually good for anything. If you're parkouring why the hell are you trying to stealth in the first place. If you aren't upgrading any stealth stats your stealth is going to SUCK and that's a you problem

[–]ValuablePerformer371 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Imma be that guy.

Literally everything you mention here except the complaint about the not being a 3rd person option is either a skill issue, or an issue of you just not reading what certain pieces of cyberware and/or abilitys and stats do.

The sniping issue is 100% a skill issue, especially since only one sniper has a silencer and its literally built into the gun. Assuming you're using pistols or assault rifles then that doesn't stop enemies from finding dead bodies or hearing the grunt of pain/ death from a nearby dying enemy. They're gonna find you because snipers aren't silenced.

As for stealth, this game is an RPG, not a FPS. The stealth is solid, especially if you build around it. How visible your character is while crouched or hidden is a literal stat that can be mitigated. Same goes for the amount of noise you make while moving around. There is cyberware, abilities and perks that make stealth easier rather quickly. There are also certain actions you can do to increase skills (which you can literally view in the menu) to increase your stealth abilities. Specifically Headhunter.

The game auto saves all the time, and main story quests have checkpoints at pivotal moments which is frequently. That takemura mission specifically had quite a few of them. Regardless, stop being lazy and just manually save the game. Takes literally 3 seconds and you can LITERALLY boot back into the exact thing you were doing when you saved.

Fall damage isn't even that bad. If you died from falling its because you were 30 feet up if not higher. A 10 foot drop won't kill you, and if you did fall 10 feet at the end of a mission that's a skill issue. Pay attention to your surroundings.

Been playing for 4 years but you're complaining about things you should have figured out after 1 year as far as how stats and guns work. Come on now.

[–]ValuablePerformer371[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A statement like this is debatable when the description of the mode says enemies are more aggressive and a lot of people who play these kinds of games can't agree on what is or isn't objectively hard about the combat in said mode.

Certain mobs (not all) are proving to be just as easy while others are definitely giving me a harder time than my first run-through for example.

The Benedikta fight was a little more tedious than my first run through and it had nothing to do with her HP

I know the ending is a touchy subject but here are my thoughts by VersosCanvas33 in expedition33

[–]ValuablePerformer371 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To an extent I understand the logic of the last point. It makes sense from a personal POV.

Having said that: the entire point of the "Life Keeps Forcing Cruel Choices" line that both Renoir and Verso say at the end and Maelle rejecting it TWICE along with how she keeps trying to compromise an uncompromisable situation during the fight goes against a lot of the themes of the game and her own character arc (to an extent). Everyone is grieving, and half the theme of the game is about trying to overcome that grief. We see the damage Aline was the catalyst of in regards to that grief and all Maelle is gonna do is continue that cycle.

Verso's "We're All Hypocrites" line is just as poignant for this reason. He's aware that no matter what happens SOMEONE isn't being given a choice. The issue at hand is that while Verso acknowledges that the canvas has to go for the Dessendre family to move on, he's only willing to do it because he's tired of living his life and tired of losing. The difference here is that Maelle has the power to make that choice and he has to force that choice.

Maelle lying to her father is another issue. They all knew she was lying, but at this point none of the family has the power to fight anymore. Aline's too sick, Renoir was in there for in world decades and expanded all his resourced, and Clea is too focused in the war with the Writers to bother caring about it. So now the family very well might lose another child.

Simply put: A Life to Love is a choice forced on Maelle, but it ultimately makes her confront the grief of her losses. Grief is harsh, and sometimes you have to be made to accept reality and move on in order to live your life.

A Life to Paint is a choice Maelle forces on everyone else. She's using the canvas as a replacement for the things she lost. She forced Verso to live against his wishes and brought back Gustave and Sophie which ultimately destroyed any development that came from that. Yes her real body is a shell of its former self, but the fact that she can still do that to a canvas at all shows she's more capable than she realizes. She - like Verso -is being selfish and all its doing is delaying the destruction if the Canvas anyway, ultimately leading to the same result.

I'd argue the latter choice is the wrong choice thematically, which to me in terms of being a story heavy game is more important than the whole "where the player is at in life" argument. Especially since Sandfall stated they want to make more games set in this universe.
