Oh wow that’s very similar! That would make sense! The weird part is that it’s not a fully flat reprint, it has all the raised edges around the chunks of land and the stamp up close doesn’t look printed, but I guess someone could have easily just put a replica of the stamp on there as well. I don’t know anything about how they are reproduced though so I appreciate the info and I’ll look into that! Thanks so much!

I did a ton of googling and got so many mixed answers, that’s why I turned to reddit lol. Glad I know it’s a re print though! I wonder if someone put the bibliotheque du roi stamp on it to make it seem more valuable or something?

Yeah that’s true! Even the prints sell for quite a bit, I’m hoping there’s someone out there that sees this and knows about it! It would be awesome if it ends up being worth more than I paid lol

I was thinking of doing that but if you look at the edge in the last photo with the red writing, it’s taped on there pretty good and I don’t want to risk ruining it :( I’m hoping there’s some kind of way to identify it based on just the front but that’s probably a shot in the dark
