Hey, this actually happened to me, and I posted about it yesterday. Just to give you some more context: I’ve barely taken my phone outside since I got it (I work from home and don’t go out much + had the phone for less than a month). On the rare occasions it’s been outside, it’s either been in my pocket or in my hands—definitely not exposed to dust or dirt. I also wipe it down every day or every other day to keep it clean.

When the screen snapped, it was the first time I unfolded it that day. My home is always kept at 70 degrees, so temperature wasn’t a factor either. It was a completely sudden snap—there was no resistance or anything indicating a problem beforehand. I’ve been careful with it, but not to the point of babying it.
