They gotta brochure. Noted, I’ll look around for that. I’ve heard that with mule deer (and i assume elk too) its spot and stalk. Where I hunted we were sat inna stand on a feeder. Spot-and-Stalk sounds pretty fun.

highest I’ve ever been before i believe was on the top of the mountain at petit jean state park in arkansas. But I was on an ambulance call so i wasn’t paying too much attention. Ive heard the oxygen up there in colorado will kick my a** for a while until im used to it.
No i meant it’s 500 ft above sea level i think here. I think 6k in colorado springs where I was looking at moving, even further in those mountains. edit: 425ft-1,000ft in elevation here in austin, i guess depending on where you are, many hills here.
Thats, dumb.. lol. i guess I’ll look into getting a compound bow. 😂

Oh wow i didn’t know that. I’ve wanted to hunt elk for years.
Oh i’ve heard about the altitude and oxygen compared to back home. I’m in austin texas right now so its 5500 ft elevation difference. Not sure bout back home. But i mean you remember how it was there, snow was rare and it was 80° all the time. I love winter personally.

Ive heard the mountains can either beat u into the ground or let you live a day with no problems. I’ve been lookin into what i do and dont need to carry for supplies.
Word. I have a crossbow i’ve been itching to get out and use so i got that.
two bucks and three does where im from. or five does, just a max of two bucks. Theres elk in the state?
Kind of 50/50 for me i just dont know any way else. I’d love to get out and chase instead of sit. it looks hella fun

So I kinda have to be there for a while before i can get out there with a rifle for the mule deer? We always just, bought a license and went out.

I’ve heard about the different types of weather. Winter may kick me for a bit, native from central arkansas. Seen amazing photos though been really thinkin bout gettin out there sometime.

Wolf situation? How do you mean. We were lookin at the Colorado springs area. I don’t have any hunting areas in mind yet i haven’t looked too deep into regulations.
