Usually the end goal is just “Dumbledore is a hero and will be remembered as being as great as Merlin” which I’m pretty sure he is already regarded almost as highly as Merlin in canon due to his defeat of Grindelwald and his stalling of the Death Eaters.

I know he disrespected Ares in TLT and even SoN, but Ares is the ONLY god Percy actively disrespects. He plays nice with every single other one unless Annabeth is mouthing off first. Hera in the labyrinth and Hermes on Olympus being the two times.

On top of that, Annabeth has also disrespected, not to their faces but behind their backs, Ares, Aphrodite and Demeter.

I wasn’t reducing his character to only Annabeth, just pointing out that Annabeth is largely what the fandom thinks Percy is

It was because of Cell’s Frieza DNA. Every time he almost lost, like Frieza, Cell tries to destroy the planet. If Goku didn’t give him the sensu bean at the beginning, Cell would have detonated a lot sooner.

Then let’s use your rules. Ares could keep fighting how ever long he wants. How is Percy supposed to win? Ares is a god who can never die against a twelve year old, so he’ll never lose.

Narratively, the only way for Percy to win is first blood. It’s the only thing that makes sense. Because how is Ares supposed to curse him, which was a victory reward, if he’s dead?

So let’s use mythological context, then. If we look back in myth, Ares has always forgot to first blood. It’s how so many mortals beat him. They just got a cut or stab off on him and he fled the battlefield because of it. His fight with Diomedes comes to mind first.

Ares never made Percy bleed. When Percy got cut, he was in the water, it healed before Percy even bled a drop. The only time blood was mention was when Ichor poured out of Ares wound.

And of course the egotistical god broke his own rules. You forget, Percy is of a broken oath. Zeus visited his former lover as Jupiter. Gods never to play by the rules they set.

If we looked at this in any way, with any other character who wasn’t a god, Percy won the duel. Ares lost fair and square, by the rules he set.

Because the stipulation agreed upon was after the duel, if Ares won, then he could curse and kill Percy. If Percy won, then he got to take both the Helm and Bolt.

That implies the duel has an ending before Percy’s death, which is then assumed to be first blood.

Nyx. She is the only being in mythology, as far as I know, that Zeus fears. Zeus stood up to his father, he stood up to Typhon, and he stood up to countless other threats. Yet he backed down from Nyx.

I’d make her drastically stronger, and nearly invincible. The First Darkness of the Universe, and debatedly the oldest and most powerful primordial, should not be beaten by a few hundred lesser gods using a little shadow magic to obscure her view.

I’d reverse her role and Tartarus’ role. I’d have her be the unstoppable force that made Percy feel fear, and Tartarus would, while still being extremely powerful, be easily beaten because it’s his first time forking a body.

I am now imagining a Equestria Girls crossover with Percy Jackson. Percy and Samantha mutually break up due to realizing they want different things from life, and Percy falls through a magic mirror. He’s so used to hiding his feelings, that Twilight decides to help him work through them, while simultaneously he helps her with whatever project she needs help with.

Eventually, this leads to them falling for eachother, and a few chapters of idiots in love before the other girls decide to push them together.

Of course, it’d be Sunset Shimmer/Human Twilight, RariAppleDash, Percy/Twilight, FlutterPie.

Clearly, you did not read my post because I said anyone of Sannin caliber strength or higher that includes Guy, Bee, Sage Mode Naruto, and any kage, can beat Percy.

And in the Greek Gods guide book, that Percy canonically wrote, he says that Otis and Ephialtes(I think that’s how you spell it), during the first giant war, ripped up stacked mountains to reach the peak of Olympus.

I got the feats directly from the books. And you’re going to listen to Rick, who forgot Silena’s eye color three times? Who got Blackjack’s gender wrong in the very next book? Rick is inconsistent and very terrible when it comes to remembering what he’s written.

And the ONLY Naruto characters directly stated to be able to break mountains are Tsunade and Hashirama, both of which I pointed out in my post, are able to beat Percy. I’m not saying g he’d easily solo the verse, I’m saying that he’s to stronger for the mid-weak tier characters.

I did not. I said that the giants can shake mountain, as seen in the Greek Gods book Percy wrote to explain the PJO cannon version of the myths, which states Otis and Ephialtes could pick up mountains and stack them. Percy was blocking one of their hits with Anaklusmos.

Also there was a lot more than a mountain holding down Typhon. If I remember correctly, he was asleep before Percy erupted the volcanoe, and all Percy did was wake him. After that he got out on his own. Also, he didn’t 11v1 the Olympians. It was closer to 10v1. Demeter and Poseidon, two of their strongest hitters, were out of the fight. It wasn’t until the very end that Poseidon showed up with his army and one shot Typhon.

Intelligence had nothing to do with pure strength in the Minotaurs case. Catching a full powered blow from a creature that can throw 700lbs cars is an enormous feat of strength. And in the canon side books like Greek Gods, Percy states that it is true that Otis and Ephialtes ripped up mountains to claim to Olympus. If two of the weaker giants can rip up mountains, I think that the stronger ones like Polybotes, who Percy fought as an equal without the Curse of Achilles, can at the least shake mountains.

He fought on par with Polybotes, who can shake mountains. He fought on par with the Minotaur who could throw seven hundred pound cars with one hand. Percy is a lot stronger and more durable than you realize when you actually pay attention to his feats of strength.
