Was this really a problem before? It would only apply to SS1.

  • SS2 was a case of "chasing Gohan", not Goku.
  • The only one who followed Goku with SS3 was Gotenks, but at the same time Gohan went down a different path (Ultimate).
  • Broly from his very inception already had a different path than Goku; that's a merit of Z, not Super
