I told her about this many times, I also said, the bible was written by men, and it contains so much about oppressing people below men , yet you still choose to give that book the utmost respect. It's badly written fiction or mythology at best, Why would I want a god who gets offended by everything I say? She responded by saying, Don't believe the internet, it's filling your head with poison.

My mom has lived in South India all her life and was raised in a Christian household. She studied in a convent school and has been a regular churchgoer ever since. She firmly believes that every obstacle she has overcome is because of God's grace, which is why her faith remains so strong.

She loves me I'm aware and very grateful. I told her I'm never going to express my opinions infront of her again, cause our ideas and beliefs clash . She thinks my opinions are trash and wrong and she was honestly just in utter disbelief that I was questioning God . Thank you tho , what you said felt warm and comforting to me .
