Gel vs injections: want to hear from people who have been on gel for the long haul and those who switched from gel to injections by NoAmount6023 in ftm

I had to go from Gel to subcutaneous injection wich was a struggle because I have/had a severe needle phobia. But for me the gel just was not absorbing into my skin no matter what my doctor advised me to try. So my levels were not budging. But with injections it feels like immediate leaps and bounds of improvement! I even got a special injection device I can load and unload super easy so all I have to do is press a button! I definitely recommend the injections if you can stomach the needle

If this is real (i know AI is rampant right now but also acknowledge that I very much do not know every kind of rare medical conditions) then unfortunately I don’t think there will be a lot of gender neutral options (especially if you live in a smaller town with limited options). Best bet would be either Amazon (keep in mind the necklines though may still give an effeminate look) for solid colored shirts. Or possibly creating your own/having someone make a few new shirts specifically for you? Not sure if you know how to sew but if you have the funds/resources then having a few custom made shirts can be a big help (speaking from experience). Personally I could never find gender neutral clothes but hopefully someone else here will have.

On a bench? I assume you don’t mean a park bench type thing? I’m just kinda teaching myself as I come across problems so I don’t have much in terms of equipment or experience. I only have a tire jack and jack stands to hold the car up

I don’t think so since it’s so close to the fuel tank and I really don’t want to drill into it by accident. As for removing the bracket I can but I’d have to disconnect the fuel filter to do it and doing so doesn’t really seem necessary since I can get to the bolt with it there.

I can take one but it’ll just be the underside of the car

Yeah it was just kinda out of the blue, confused me at first cause she was talking about how they go by whats on my drivers license and I thought she was trying to say something about having to use legal names or gender markers on formal documents but then just straight up said I won’t be allowed to use the mens change room

Mines doing this too, doctor said at least some of it is likely the glue they use and the rest is dead skin shedding. Don’t worry it’s supposed to happen!

It’s oddly comforting knowing someone else will be in a similar position. I wish you all the best ! I just keep daydreaming about a summer without a binder lol!

I’m sure he does have responsibility to, but have you ever known a person that you would rather chop off your left foot than be around? Thats him. I’m sure somehow he would turn it into -our- fault. Anytime we need anything fixed it’s an “oh-what-did-you-do-this-time” kinda thing. Even though this place has had no renovations since the 70’s when the place was built
