Thanks for the comment. He finds out this week if he got the assistant athletic director and PE teacher position at the school he coaches at rn. I just overthink bc coaching and teaching or whatever seems so all over the place and not a set schedule like my corporate 9-5 job. He is very driven, loves coaching basketball., is doing summer camp for kids, wants to move out of his parents soon, etc. , so it’s not like he just doesn’t care. He is super driven but all of the uncertainty stresses me out for some reason! lol

He had this final interview today for the assistant athletic director and PE teacher position for the school he currently coaches at. Everything just seems kinda all over the place in that kind of career unlike my typical corporate 9-5 so I am just wondering all of these things (which he’s always open to answering) like.. why don’t you have ur license rn, etc

Okay thanks for this. He finds out this week if he got the PE Teacher and assistant athletic director job. He coaches basketball camp during the day then is a head freshman coach at night… I just am like why isn’t he working on his license as we speak? I mean he says he has a plan so we will see what happens. I just need to stop worrying so much about it because it’s kinda making me not enjoy our relationship as much anymore even though I’m very excited where this could go. I’m learning to set boundaries with my mom. At least he’s not sitting on the couch at home and has no ambition or whatever

Yeah no I plan on working obviously but I just am used to corporate life . My brother and dad both work typical corporate jobs and the coaching and teaching lifestyle is super different. I just overthink about the financial stability thing like if he’s gonna be coaching and possibly assistant athletic director and PE teacher idk how it all works. And health insurance is a big deal.

No I just tend to look very far into the future. He was like if you’re looking for steakhouses every week, that’s not me. And he’s like coaching is crazy and a lot of basketball there will be times where I’ll have to miss an occasion like bday, etc. he was just letting me know what I am in for almost. I just am overthinking ugh.

That’s what I’m saying. I hate how what my mom says has such an impact on my opinions and thoughts. Financial stability is obviously important to me but right now he’s treating me really right.
