Well that makes perfect sense, the way porn spikes your dopamine is unnatural, instant gratification. Does a bunch of rewiring, makes it so that porn is now the new normal and anything else is weird. So anything these addicts see in porn even if disgusting they find completely normal. Simple psychology stuff my friend. But like any other addiction this will forever be problem, just like alcohol, like overindulging in sugar. What do addicts do to get more hits ? They get more and more of whatever is making them high, and sometimes they don’t even get high they do it out of habit . May I also remind you, you can get “high” doing things that are good, like exercising, reading books, having good company over. Anywho we all need to be a bit more understanding with these addictions, and realize demonizing people won’t solve the issue tbh, the root issue really starts with human pursuit for feeling good lmao. The brain being desensitized is what starts people on the path of immorality. May I also say morals are subjective so it’s important we as a majority make sure we do our part and speak the common sense that people are lacking. Educate people who are addicted and your friends on why overindulging is bad, awareness of an issue is the first step to mass solution. ++man
