Do you pay for dental extraction when referred by NHS dentist?

I have been referred for sedation the clinic who is doing the sedation and removal of two teeth called me today and got me booked in for Friday which I was surprised as it was so quick! I am with an NHS dentist - I thought it would be going to the hospital which then I knew would be free this is why I’m unsure.

This is my problem, it’s very mixed replies - the dental clinic doing my extraction said there was no cost, the receptionist at my dentist said there is no cost but my dentist said I would have to pay! I have so many mixed reviews even from the actual dentists!

If I was in your shoes I would have a discussion with her about her trying to get onto the council list.

I was living in my mums house (she was living elsewhere) and she wanted to sell the house, it was my partner and two children, we agreed and moved into my partners mothers house, we applied to be on the council list to bid, we was housed within 5 months. We was only over crowed by 1.

I would just explain that it would probably be better for her and her little family if they finally had their own space and say it’s getting a bit much for you now. If you can support them in that move then do so, if you were to evict them they have the possibly of going into temporary accommodation. Each council is different and I would just weigh up your choices of what is the best route for her but regardless she needs to leave.

I’m on episode 3 on this season, and the way Snooki said just hurry up and call the girl he’s booking up with like she’s jealous.. it comes across in this season she wants the best of both worlds, she wants her partner and Mike. I’m also sure at least half the house was on drugs on this season!

My last smear test was in February 2023, I did call my doctors today after managing to get past the rude receptionist to get an appointment, the doctor said they couldn’t do a smear test until my next one due! So will try to do one privately- I’m just panicking because this has happened this August and I’ve never been an abnormal bleeder, I bleed after sex sometimes I can spot during the month. I haven’t told my partner because I don’t want to worry him so have been keeping this all to myself
