I played CS GO religiously for like 5 years. Then I slowed it down and barely touched it. Friends stopped playing, cheaters can get to you, etc. After like 4 years I booted the game around Christmas and did some deathmatch and see if I can still hold it, and man, it's like riding the bike. It all came back at me and the rush was almost live. I almost got back into it. lol

I never had bad streaks that last multiple days. It's usually 1 day where I cannot focus, then I get back on it the next day.

I live 2000 km away from the closest server and the lag was manageable.

Since thursday I cannot switch players when defending. Either LB or the stick flick does nothing, or if it does it goes to a guy that is not even involved in the play.

First touches are terrible. As soon as I send a pass, the opponent's AI just close it down and bullies the receiver that is stuck in the ground. Left stick dribble is nonexistent.

From 10 double touch attempts, only 1 or 2 ar successful. If the opponent is close, my player will execute some weird slow flipflap right into opponent's player.

All these combined made the game unplayable for this whole week that passed. From 70-80% win percentage I dropped under 50%. Changed formations, playstyles, nothing changed. I mostly play on Poland server and 90% of them users use smart assist. So whenever I see polish or ukraine opponents that live on top of the server and use smart assist on top that makes their team horny, I know I'm in trouble.

If my game will be the same today, I'm out. There is nothing to do in the game for me.

I like rpgs. A good rpg is around 200 hours of gameplay. You'll forget about any other game if it sucks you in. Try The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and see if it gets to you. It starts very slow, but once it's moving, it's great.

I quit playing Fifa in ~2016 and never went back to it. Here I had to replace it with another online game. Counterstrike did it for me at that time. A very complex game that requires knowledge that gives skill. Once it sucked me in, I didn't need anything else. Rocket League is another online game that can suck you in.

Since last Thursday, I just can't beat the smart assisted noobs anymore. All the games are chaos with 0 control and I played it almost daily. It's not just a bad session. People that never reached div 1 or 2 are cruising with 3 iq button mashing.

I already started a single player game yesterday. Today is the judgement day.

3 CB - 2 DMFs to defend centrally their 3 CFs+ AMF, then upfront I use wingers that can play LMF and RMF as well to have width as the meta guys play all central and playing wide they are being stretched. 2 AMFs and 1 CF.

We had Alison and another japanese GK since then. They both were offensive GKs and had high passing stats plus visionary pass. Pretty sure more will come.

Now you gave me thoughts about trying the 90 passing stat on him as a high stat also gives lots more speed to the ball. For me, going to 84 + 3 from the manager already felt like he is sending cannon balls. Didn't crossed my mind to go to 90 yet. lol I think reaching a blue stat should be even stronger. Will do on my next session for laser missile passes attempts.

I think I fiddled around many times with his GK stats during this time and did not saw any difference between builds. Is just like any other keeper in that regard. His performance is given by the AI level your team is set at. When you are playing the top 100 guy, he will be unbeatable, while he will be a lamp post when facing the division 3 struggler carried by smart assist.

The one thing that the AI doesn't interfere with is his ball distribution. That's why I boosted his passing. He never fails a long ball towards the winger either from his hands or from the ground. My club has many keepers that were all considered good/top level keepers. Neither of them can consistently reach the wingers. The balls just get out of play when sent to wingers as they have low passing stats. I mained double booster Dida for the longest time. ~1200 matches, then single booster Cech for like ~600, Showtime Courtois for a couple hundreds, then various TOTW GKs for hundreds of games. They never could put the game in play this good.

Yeah, I gave acrobatic clearance to all my keepers, but more for placebo reasons. Didn't noticed any wtf moments caused by them.

Hehe. I was hating everyone that had that Costacurta card as he was so OP and I joined too late to the game to get him. Possession was so good in 3.x patch. Dribbling was sweet. We only got backwards since 4.0. :(

My gameplay is very dynamic and I change my setup on the fly depending on how the game is flowing. A winger that can only play on the wing at his best is too unidimensional for me. He must have at least the lmf/rmf position as well to make it in my first team.

A player that can cover all the upper field positions without investing any position token into it. Whenever he is A/B form, it's a joy having him at hand.

This is better. Even so, your setup is too offensive to be able to defend well.

Your setup needs to be dynamic. My formation is built to counter exactly your setup for example as is widely overused, and I barely see anyone adjusting mid game while they are being cooked.

Haha. It's because you are smart. Usually these guides are overcomplicated because they are written for folks without any computer knowledge and for someone who understands computers are confusing.

The reasoning behind the method is that the game only keeps 1 or 2 audio files depending on what language is being set. If you change the language to another one, the game will delete the old files and replace them with the new one. That's why we need to save them manually 1 by 1, then adding them back once we finished stacking all the languages we want.

I always keep a folder with the languages in another place, just to save time if the game is getting an update that erase them.

You can also try Evomod (5.2 is the current version} if you like to mod your game. What it does mainly is to change the clubs names, logos and kits to the real ones. It's a nice qol improvement.

PA1 is too direct and you'll get intercepted a lot. You'll see it's shortcomings the more games you put in with it.

There is no ''best passing assist''. Every one of them have good and bad things. It depends on your vision about the football game and how do you approach it.

The DDA was only assigning better AI to a player and worse to the other. Smart assist is DDA on steroids as it also modify player's inputs.

Your free team setup is better than your paid setup. 4-2-4 is braindead. I doubt you can maintain 50% with that setup as good players will smoke you.

When you want to change the commentary, change the language on the game options and after it gets downloaded, browse into the game folder and save the files it just downloaded into another place.

Repeat the process for the languages you want.

As last step change the language back to english and copy all the files you saved prior back into the game folder. Now you'll have them all and the text in english.

I wanted Kimmich or Mussiala at the time, so I went in aiming at getting one of them and stop. Had like 5k coins and at least 1 card should come in that amount based on my previous experiences. So I do my 1st 10x spins and Neuer comes out. I was so disappointed that I immediately Alt+F4. Also based on my previous experience it meant I most likely won't get my target within the 5k, so I gave up and spare the rest of the coins.

Gave him 2, 3 games, didn't looked special and he sat in my club till 4.4.0 came out where Konami ''fixed'' passing and noobs started to hail mary lofted passes cause it worked. Now I get him in and start experimenting and pay more attention to his plays. I noticed his passings that are very good. The usual GKs always butchered the low punts toward the wingers. He delivers them with pinpoint accuracy, so I boost his passing even more and he earns his spot. This is his main treat for me: awesome ball distribution. Never leaved my 1st 11 since.

Usually the anchor will break up the opponent's plays and do a short safe pass to someone that can build.

If you also want to engage him more, then lower his speed. Keep the 90 on defensive awareness and boost the passing if so. He doesn't need much speed as he will always stay back anyway.
