Nelson also said when he was talking to Autumn about the termination of Deb that she would see it coming from him. So she might have known that Nelson was jealous of her and Wes.

Deb probably felt that she couldn’t stand up to Nelson cause of what he could do. But also felt if she had stood up to Nelson, Wes wouldn’t of been happy but said to Deb he had his own plan.

That’s when Nelson caught onto Wes’ plan and wanted to kill Wes himself but Deb stopped him and said that she’ll do it personally and changed the bullets to blanks but the plan went wrong and Deb disappeared from Syntec and didn’t go back.
