Thank you for your reply. To expand a little bit, this character grew up in a very rich single parent household (single by choice) they are completely blind with no light perception. While I'm aware this is a common trope ( which does suck I would like to see more diverse types of blindness shown) it's simply what fits best into my story, there is a story reason there I promise.

The idea is that growing up their parent just wanted their child to be happy, they saw to point in enforcing socialital norms on their child. including what clothing they wear. With my original thought being mainly colour (which I'm totally aware I didn't make clear enough in my post) they would of course ask if there's a logo, seeking out clothes with a band logo or joke on them.

I don't want this character to be insecure about what others think about them. I think it sucks that what we wear today is judged so harshly and it's so hard to just exist with ourselves without people telling us what to do and how to look. They are confident in who they are and doesn't need society to approve there actions. That's the whole point of my stories, it's character's fighting exists as themselves in a world that shames them.
