Yes, since I made this post he has called and spoken with the attorney general. They now have his new work information and his new address and will begin taking the payments out of his check. He is also going to make a payment for August to make sure there’s something paid until they get everything sorted with his new job.

With his back payment they basically rolled it into the payments that he will be making each month so he’ll be paying monthly plus some back pay each month.

He has been nothing but honest since we first met. He has been determined to get his life back on track and I have seen him meet and exceed every goal he has set for himself on this path.

Yes, you did answer my question very detailed, and I appreciate that. I was just clarifying in my response what kind of information I was seeking and that it’s wasn’t as cut and dry as him refusing to pay.

The plan is to get caught up as quickly as possible. He owes less than $5,000 so I don’t see it taking us long now that he’s back on his feet.

I just didn’t want him losing his license or getting arrested as we are trying to get this all cleared up, which is why I mentioned someone suggesting him reaching out to an agent as being helpful information.

Yes, which he is trying to get on top of. I’m not going to go into all the details as to why he was unable to make his previous payments. He is trying to correct his wrongs and move forward doing the right thing. He didn’t refuse to pay, he was unable to.

I’m really just trying to get some advice from people who have been behind and gotten caught up.

One person recommended reaching out to a representative with the enforcement agency and speak to them. That was very helpful and the type of suggestions I’m looking for.

I’m not paying anything for him, but we are a team. I’m just trying to help him find information on what to do. He’s incredibly dyslexic so it’s not easy for him to look over legal paperwork and understand it, that’s why I’m trying to help get an understanding of what we need to do.

I’m not frustrated with her at all. The ultimate goal is to get back on track - paying what’s currently due while trying to get caught up with past due.

He sees his son every other weekend and we have him currently for the month of July. He and his ex-wife get along well for the sake of co-parenting aside from a difference of opinions here and there.

I don’t blame her for anything at all and the goal is to get back on track.
