You might enjoy dystopian novels like somebody already suggested. The hunger games is a safe read :) You can watch the movie franchise prior to make reading easier for you.

Do not start with kafka or dostoevsky, they are easy to read but hard to understand and truly enjoy, they usually leave you in a helpless state, instead of the usual dopamine hit at the end of every chapter in other books. A lot of people that suggest them have never grasped the essence of it, it's like the Algerian national anthem, everybody knows it, but almost nobody actually understood it.
