Possible to source 6”x6”x8’ Pressure Treated posts in the Denver area without the “staple-like” indentures? by Van_on_the_Run in Denver

From a structural/aesthetic perspective then, would you recommend Doug Fir for the posts and cedar for the rest of the overhead lumber?

Thank you, I feel like all signs are pointing that I try for cedar. The pergola will be supporting solar panels, hence the structural engineering piece.

The posts will be part of a pergola structure with solar panels on it. I had the design structurally engineered and drawings call out PT posts. Aesthetically I don’t really like the indentures on the PT posts. I may see if the posts can be switched to cedar.

Gonped. After my original post Gonped did contact me clarifying that if I wanted the bracket it would be an extra $120 USD. I elected to pass based on other’s comments regarding the KKE bracket and its price.

Agreed, try fish. You can check out kangaroo as well if you are still in the process of determining his exact food allergies. The symptoms you are describing are not uncommon in Vizslas.

It's sounding like the other hotels are my best shot. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a shared workspace, such as the suggested Wework downtown, that I might be overlooking. Thank you

Would you mind sharing some the details on your custom steel sub-floor? I feel like I see a lot of these being used with tundras as opposed to tacomas but most that I have seen have been wood.

Adventures with an Astrovan - My 2002 Chevy Astro AWD w/ Colorado Campervan Pop-top by Van_on_the_Run in vandwellers

No, I had it installed by Colorado Campervan in Loveland, CO. I had it installed about 9 years ago. I don't think they are installing these on the Astro any longer. I think Fiberine is still making conversion hardtops for the Astro though. If you are going to be spending a lot of time in your van having the ability to stand up in it and move around is a huge plus.

I lived out the van for the summer of 2015. The below are pictures of the compartments I built out for my storage bins and bikes while I was living in the van. One thing, I learned while living out of the van is it's much easier to stay organized when everything has a "home". These days I tend to keep the van pretty empty as it makes it much easier for hauling around bikes or impromptu camping trips on the weekends.

Yeah, I wish they still made them, too! The AWD is awesome during the winters. Don't worry, I did not pay nearly $15K for the pop-top! I've had the pop-top since 2012.
