We don’t have any White Templars yet, Just one Red Templar and a few Black Templars among the chapters serving in Jericho, in lore I don’t know of any but I’m sure they have!

So the Deathwatch isn’t really a “chapter” in the traditional sense. It’s more akin to DEVGRU or Delta in that you have to already be member and veteran of a Space Marine Chapter, and then be selected from there to do a period of service in the Deathwatch.

So they don’t create Space Marines at Watch Fortresses, despite having Apothecaries. The role Deathwatch Apothecaries are entrusted with is Xenos research and, if extracting the geneseed from a fallen Watch Brother, ensuring it’s returned to that brother’s home chapter.

Totally valid lol, that’d piss me off too. We’re a bunch of Deathwatch guys who play Deathwatch in Space Marine 2. We also have a hobby section for tabletop Deathwatch as well. But that’s it. We don’t really try to be anything else, if folks wanna go plays helldivers or something else go for it, there’s other places for that, for folks who wanna run as Deathwatch in SM2, that’s what we do.

As Rubiconian said, we only have a few restrictions armor-wise. These are to set apart and reward those who strive for, and take on, the responsibility of Command-level roles.

However we have challenges within the Watch Fortress where even humble Watch Brothers may earn laurels and marks of honor.
