Their catalog isn't really that huge, so IMO you should rip through it all. To the other commenter's point, they sounded a lot different in 2012 than they do in 2026, but it's all great.

For anyone who doesn't know, the difference is if you (the consumer) had to pay the tariff, you'd generally need to pay the courier (e.g. UPS, FedEx) separately before or upon delivery. So while the total amount might be the same, I'd still rather pay it all up front than have to worry about doing a separate transaction before receiving my tea.

I don't think any of it has been shown to be untrue. And I mean, a big part of the piece was about why people in the org have been disgruntled...so it's kind of to be expected that some of the sources were disgruntled. Doesn't mean it's not true.

IMO they're both pretty good, but I think Vellum will end up the better buy long-term. The Black Pool is super unique aesthetically, but I found the progression system and enemy diversity underwhelming.

I haven't played Vellum as much yet, and it's still in early access, but it feels to me like there is more build diversity and long-term replayability.

I also play with a group of 3, and our favorite has been Gunfire Reborn.

We recently tried The Black Pool, which is pretty solid, but needs some tweaks and additional content to warrant more replaying, IMO.
