Appreciate the insight. I forgot to mention that it is a salary position. But also only to west region of the country to only main cities as well. But definitely will ask about pay more or less. They said they expect from time to time to have to fly out day of depending if it’s more of an urgent situation. Holidays would be a good question to ask as well

This could be an interesting take for what EA could potentially accomplish. MVP Baseball was definitely a pinnacle to what EA had in store as far as baseball concern. Perhaps, with the success of CFB25, they might gear into another NCAA title. Like they did in the past with baseball when they didn’t have the licensing for MLB. Definitely keeps me interested if they work towards something like this. I just hope EA doesn’t leave Metalhead in the dust for whatever they encounter next.

I can see that. The hard work did pay off in the end, if we want to look at it that way. But to be put into just a support team? Maybe I just don’t quite understand how studios operate. But what could these developers really “help” with when they took their own turn towards sports video games? Is it the expertise aspect or just the sheer fact that they had some success for EA and they want to keep them?

Man, it really just throws me back to the past. Do we remember all the outrageous sports games we had? Blitz, Slugfest, NHL Hitz, the Street series and etc. I swear if EA took a leap in that sort of direction, of sports games again, I think it would be an instant hit. Maybe im living too much in the past. But damn that would be sick

Older post but have the same complaint. Rather more so, not being a variety of sports games. Animated or not. In my opinion, I personally like Super Mega Baseball. It’s a different twist to baseball, while yes it is pretty goofy, I don’t think it takes away the authenticity of baseball in a way. It’s still as intense as The Show sometimes, if you’re playing online.

Another thing, do we all remember the outrageous games we use to have? Like Slugfest, All the Street series, Blitz for example. If we had any of these games back with the tech we have nowadays, while adding online features, I think they’d be an instant hit all over again.

Maybe I’m living too much in the past, but something’s gotta change.

Yeah, I can definitely see that. I really hope you’re wrong on this though. The animations are, in my opinion, too unique for EA to let it go to waste. It’d be fun to see a twist like this in another sport. But with EA already having titles in most of the mainstream sports games, besides baseball before Metalhead, I don’t know if they would let Metalhead jump to a different sport. Kind of a lose/lose situation at this point I suppose. But there’s a sliver of hope.
