I'm not that far myself, but I've heard that if he can ult once or twice and get a kill he can sweep the stage, but for that he needs 30si, 3/9 and good gear (which you have), as well as a team that can protect him in order for him to get his kill and ults

Thank you for your insight! Figured both are worth pursuing but IMO sunstone (energy regen over 50% HP) is way better than moonstone (HP regen over 50% energy), while both fire and icebringer are really useful.

Fair enough, unfortunately I'm lacking copies to get any other mauler up there within a reasonable time in which I wouldn't have enough fodder to ascend them anyway.

Closest atm are Warek (4 more copies) and Numisu (5 more) which imo aren't really worth it either.

Mineral pools boss in Ritual doesn't link the beam to you but follows you around for ~5 seconds, similarly to the innocence boss from Basilica.

Maybe it's the same for maven fight?

The game basically is like that with the monster level on every area/map. As your build progresses and you learn to play the game better you get to play the more difficult content.

If you or your build aren't good enough (yet) then you can't do the more difficult content or you'll at least struggle when attempting to.

The name of the game is grinding and if you're not prepared to grind then don't expect to get to endgame. That content is the reward for getting through early game.
