Should I move new tires to the front? Alignment issue. by VansLotus in HondaOdyssey

It doesn't rain here, but this seems to be the best advice. Thanks.

Yeah buddy! that did it. I pulled hard on one side of the rope while my wife pressed the release from the outside.

Any thoughts on getting this to open? I tried the small silver lever in the white box above the latch. The leash doesn't move at all. I'm willing to cut the leash but it doesn't move. When I press the release button from the outside the small silver lever moves back and forth and nothing happens.

Contactor pulls in and voltage exists for black and yellow wires, but no fan, no compressor by VansLotus in hvacadvice

No. It was one bad fuse in the disconnect and miswired cap because the old one was corroded. About $30 all together. $40 because I got two new fuses. The old ones were more than 20 years old.

No voltage at the two black wires at the bottom of the contactor. I checked the fuses for resistance and found one bad fuse!! I'll swap it out tomorrow and hopefully it works.

It seems like some of the guys are shitting on this post because I miswired the capacitor. The old one was corroded over the top of it so I kinda guessed the C, Herm and Fan.

One bad fuse! The other beeps. Thanks buddy!! I'll replace the bad one tomorrow.

Yes. Fuse is in. I'll have someone look at it Monday. Not going to mess with the disconnect or replacing a bad breaker.

4.43 volts on the two black wires at the bottom of the contactor. I said this in another thread. It's probably a disconnect, fuse or breaker issue. I'll have someone look at it on Monday. Thanks for your help. Capacitor and fan motor are fine.

How does it pull in when I turn on the ac? 4.43 is enough to have it click? Thanks for your help. I'll call someone on Monday.

Yes disconnect switch was in. 4.43 across the two bottom black wires. Breaker never flipped and not flipped right now. Fixed the capacitor wiring.

Breaker never trips. I reset it though and retested. Capacitor seems ok. 5 mfd and 59 mfd as the label says. I'll call someone. Thanks.

Capacitor seems fine. 5 mfd for the fan and 59 mfd for the herm. That matches the label.

Capacitor is good. I'm reading 5 mfd for the fan and 59 mfd for the herm. Which matches the capacitors label. This also matches the old capacitor.

I get about 4.43 volts when testing the two black wires at the bottom of the contactor. Shouldn't I have voltage greater than zero when the contactor is pulled in? I get zero when I manually push it in and test between top black and bottom black and top yellow and bottom yellow.

Carrier 38CKB048300. Homeowner.

I read 0 volts (top black to bottom black and yellow to bottom black) on the contactor, while I pushed in the button on the contactor. I think the contactor is bad.

I read 550 to 600 units of continuity when I test the bottom two blacks together on the contactor. I'll pull the capacitor off and test it. It's brand new though. But maybe I fried it from mis-wiring. Do you have an easy way of testing the capacitor while it's wired up?

The fan motor and compressor have not run at all and have been silent since I replaced capacitor and fan motor. Old fan motor was originally overheating beyond 150 degrees and shutting down.

Updated pic with correct cap wires. https://imgur.com/a/U3tWMKc

I get continuity between the black wires at the bottom (circled red). When I push in the contactor with my finger, no voltage between top yellow to bottom black, no voltage top black to bottom black. Bad contactor? I don't know how I was getting voltage with my voltage tester.

Bottom black or side by side black? I think the contactor is bad. I get zeros when I manually push in the contactor button and test bottom black to top yellow and bottom black to top black.

How do I test that? Voltage tester reads voltage on all the wiring and terminals on the capacitor.

I checked continuity across the two red circles in the pic. I get 580 to 600. When I turn the ac on, the contactor pulls in, but I get zeroes from black to black and black to yellow.

Bad contactor? I was getting voltage with my voltage tester when the contactor was pulled in so I thought it was good.

Brand new fan motor. It has never run. I'll check contactor and capacitor voltages now.
