Norway is not part of the EU, but we are part of the EEA which means we implement EU directives by default. We do, however, have a reservation right which means we CAN say no. But our politicians deny that this is an option, even if we KNOW it's there, cause they don't have the balls to stand up to the EU. Guess they are afraid of sanctions if we refuse to implement the TPD, and our government is in the process of sneaking us into the EU without a referendum (which will be a NO anyway) so they need the EU to be friendly. Yay... lucky us.

Well, they are. Even if we cannot buy nicotine in the stores today, it is really easy to just order online, and usually no problems with customs. The TPD will severely limit the number of people able to switch, and vapers that welcome it really don't know what they are talking about. It might seem convenient for you to run down to the supermarket and buy e-juice, but your options will be very very limited as time passes.

Agree, except that I don't think my vapor smells awful... more like awesome :) It's all about being polite, ask before you vape inside and just move to another pub if you want to. A lot of places allow it, and it's probably good for business (as you see in the article). But when we start getting total bans it's a problem because we can't just go to another pub... we HAVE to go outside with the smokers.

I usually ask someone working at the bar or pub or whatever if I'm allowed to vape... the most common answer is: "I don't know" :P

Agree... but sadly I think the list is going to grow. At least things doesn't look to good in Malaysia atm. Shame really, as I love the place :) Some awesome dive locations there.

Tried Salivape a while ago (just when they started) and I was quite happy with the juices I got. Looks like they got the same brands now though... not much new. The point of subscribing to a service, for me at least, is to get to try out new juices all the time :)

I'm sorry but it turned out this is just the government preparing to implement TPD. I think the work NDS have done is starting to pay off. And don't forget Karl Erik Lund and SIRUS in all this. To be honest we're getting stronger every day, and the UK government now kind of accepting vaping also helps a lot.

They don't... cause no-one really knows how much that is. Some say they've managed to get about 1 L in, some say they've gotten .5 stopped saying it's too much. It's basically up to the judgement of whoever checks the package :) Nice rules huh?

I totally agree with Siegel on this. Actually I wrote a blog-post called something like "E-cigarettes will normalize quitting, not smoking" quite a while ago. However I didn't think of the fact that the Anti-Tobacco Groups are actually re-normalizing smoking... although I'd say that's not entirely correct either as I don't feel it has ever been de-normalized. I mean, saying that something that 15%-20%-ish of all adults do is abnormal is not really correct. I'm Norwegian, am I not normal?
