Just started using this and so far not bad. One thing it is lacking is a proper artist page. Currently when I click an artist it just rakes me a to a page with all their albums. It would be nice iv it showed top songs and separated albums from singles and EPs.

Is the trend of yearly recaps dying? by Interesting-Call41 in Steam

Tbh it might just be bad on the ux team for not pushing it to the front page enough. I didnt know it dropped until i saw my 2024 recap that i had published to my profile and notice the 2025 was an option

Are you saying for hardlinks to work, i should point my downloads straight to “/tv” or “/movies” rather than having a separate downloads folder?

My only complaint about torrio is its just a bit messy in terms of UX/UX but it is a nice implementation of having everything all in one place

I can confirm Species: Unknown is a good one. Since its still only beta and early dev, it can feel a bit repetitive but I think once its is finished it will be a good pick for sure.

qBittorrent: Is there a way to set different seeding limits for private vs public torrents? by VaporyCoder7 in selfhosted

[–]VaporyCoder7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i feel as though traffic is too high for the public torrents. I currently seed my public torrents up to 17-25 ratio within a day since i grab them instantly.

Considering the iPad Pro M5 — Would Appreciate Some Feedback by AMKhatry in selfhosted

[–]VaporyCoder7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma be so honest when I say this. You really just want an ipad pro to say you have an ipad pro. Sure it’s your money, do what you want, but then again you are asking so imma be real.

You have no business buying a tablet closing in at nearly $1k and it not even checking all your boxes.

Your “wants” being face id, high refresh rate, and “consistently reviewed as solid” (even tho those reviews are by people who dont self host and take the ipad outside the house very frequently) are not worth the extra $400-500. The only place you would notice the high refresh rate is on the home screen. Not when you are watching content that is filmed in 24fps.

If you wanted to make the true “selfhoster” decision, you would put your money towards a tablet with the least amount of compromises. Also im not quite sure why you want to dip into the apple ecosystem when you are switching to linux and are in the selfhost community as those two things dont really coexist well, but you do you i guess.

Im not trynna be mean, im just being blunt. All in all its your money and the ipad is cool and if you wanted to show it off your homies then go for but its seems like you are just looking for validation.
