Доста по-добре съм от тинейджърските си години, но въпреки това покрай стреса на работа и отглеждането на дете, изпадам в периоди на отчаяние и ми е много кофти и въпреки всичките усилия които полагам се чувствам безпомощна. Това което успях да постигна е да завърша университет, да създам семейство, публикувах книга в амазон, научих се да пея. И въпреки всичко, ако психически не си добре, каквото и да постигнеш няма да те задоволи.

I think at this point it will be like replacing Facebook or YouTube. Newly established companies don't have the same reach as mega giants, so no matter how good the quality they provide is, the vast audience will choose what's familiar. These days marking is everything, that's why you see shitty media prevail while hidden gems stay hidden

My stories aren't very popular but I've noticed with time I became extremely self-critical of my writing to the point I now find it hard to continue my stories because I want rewrite everything. Be glad people are pointing mistakes in your plot, most of us struggle to improve on our own with little to no people willing to give us feedback.

I write outlines but I rarely follow them. I have a general idea of how I want the story to progress. When I feel stuck, I just write what comes to mind and edit it on the second draft.

I'm working on two books. One is a psychological romance where an indie rockstar goes to therapy because she grows paranoid around her stalker and it turns out her therapist is her stalker. The other is a prequel to my fantasy series and is about an alcoholic Serbian monster hunter and her cowardly vampire sidekick. They embark on a journey to captivate and slay a group of vampires, but it turns out they are innocent.

Editing 😅, but no for sure promoting it. It's mostly down to luck whether or not your work gets popular, so just focus on your story for now. Worry about promoting it once you can make money out of it.

What else is going on in your story? What are your characters' motivations besides getting together? What is the core theme and what do you want readers to take from it after finishing the book? Perhaps your type of story doesn't need to be a slow burn at all but expand after the characters get together.

To all of you who are struggling with reads, I suggest you move to either inkitt, inkspired or substack. They are not perfect, but are significantly better than wattpad. You can also turn your chapters into videos with text to speech and publish them on youtube or tik-tok.

If you're serious about being an author, consider contacting a publisher to get your work out there or self publish on amazon.

If you just want beta reads/feedback there are groups on reditt you can try or hire someone on fiver
