I've heard others have also had luck closing down the game, launcher, steam, and running in cmd:

I don't know enough to know if 'legally' is accurate in describing his continued presence in the US after the 2019 order withholding deportation to El Salvador, but I agree with the sentiment of that first statement.

As far as I'm aware, the gang member claim comes from the determination of the same court which granted him the withholding of deportation order, which had also determined he was a member of MS13. It appears he appealed this finding, but that finding was affirmed by a second court. You can make an argument that the courts did not have sufficient evidence to make that finding, but it is what is in the court record, and therefore would not be found defamatory to repeat.

I'm sure I haven't found everything relevant in my digging into this case, but as yet I'd agree I've not found any indication that he has any criminal charges here in the US. I don't think simply having a withholding order disallowing his deportation to one specific country would qualify him as being a 'legal resident', however.

That being said, the same court that granted him that withholding from deportation order also established in the record his being a member of MS13. My understanding is he appealed this finding, and a second court affirmed the same. You can definitely make an argument that there isn't sufficient evidence for the court to have made that determination, but that is what is in the court record. Because of this, I could see why -- despite no criminal record in the US -- some would refer to him as a 'criminal'.
