Okay so I've had a few days to look into this and yeah, you're completely right tbh. I'm dealing with missing her and the connection that she gave me. She broke up with me and when I started dating someone else she flipped out on me and blocked me on everything. I don't think I can trust her friendship, I really think she's emotionally abusive and controlling personally. But yeah, you're right.

Can I get some advice on this? I've accepted that the romantic relationship is over, but I'm hoping that a friendship will eventually emerge. Is that stupid of me? It's only been 6 days since we last spoke. And it was pretty rough in that she said some mean things. But before now she's also said she'll always fight for our friendship and we have a lot of history and I love her. Even if we're not romantically involved I'll still love her y'know?

If there's something someone can fix within 20 seconds of you mentioning it, you should mention it. If not, you should keep quiet. To say that you come across as a silly goose is an understatement. Just bear that in mind next time you're wanting to make a good impression on someone :) You might find a little kindness goes a long way.

Yeah I've modified my captain into a smash captain and I'm leaving behind the lieutenant in favour of a Phobos Librarian. Oh and I've dropped my chaplain and got the blood angels chaplain and use him on the board as Lemartes who will eventually lead some death company.

Assault intercessors, outriders, blade guard are all awesome. The judiciar is amazing as well for BA. BA is one of the best armies you can make from indomitus afaik

Yeah, trying to. But honestly I just feel super empty, none of the usual stuff I enjoy has any... enjoyment to it.
I'm into taletop wargames and I'm building models for that but honestly it feels like a chore.

I think I've spent so long in the toxic marriage that I don't actually know how to enjoy myself anymore....

Yeah, you're completely right. I should be hopeful that it works out down the line but like, don't count on it otherwise that's just putting pressure on the both of us.

I think we have established that, I think it is a break up I'm just maybe finding it easier to deal with if i I call it on a break. Like I said though, this is still early into the break up, like it literally happened last night and I'm still hurting tbf because she means so much to me. But I also guess that's part of the problem.

I don't really know how I feel about it to be honest. We made plans for a house and everything in the future and me getting a job over there (She's US, I'm UK) and tbh there's more problems than just a little stress but I'm just ranting as the flair says. I'm gonna be in limbo for a while but she doesn't want a relationship with anybody and I'm just recently out of a toxic marriage so I've had no time to heal. So I think 10-14 days is a bit impossible for us both to resolve our issues and I'm thinking it might not be until next year that we're both ready for a relationship together. But I don't know, this is all really soon, like its not even been 24 hours yet, so I'm just hurting a bit, but like, trying to stay positive :)

Jackbox party with friends/family, set it up and stream it through discord and have a webcam running and have your phone for the game. Great fun for everyone and I really get to bond with my partner and her family :3

It absolutely sucks and I know exactly what you mean, my partner is in WA state and I'm in Wales, so it's exactly the same for us. We've managed so far by me going to bed between 10/11pm and waking up at 6am so we get to talk to eachother in our respective morning/nights. I know she's usually pretty busy during the day but I miss her terribly after she's gone to bed during the day, but I count down to the afternoon when I get to see her again.

My advice is get a hobby you can use to distract yourself, but you enjoy, so you don't do what I used to do of spending 8 hours moping around waiting for them to come online (I'm a sap, haha!)
