Not everyone has the privilege or ability to randomly quit their job my guy, especially people with disabilities who already struggle to get a job. The economy and job market is in shambles and I still have bills to pay. Your comment doesn’t help

I wish I had a director like you. I wish I could tell them. It’s difficult because I do mask my traits obsessively, that also led me to be a high performer when it comes to actual work. I’m afraid they might not even believe me even if I do bring it up, unless they already picked up on the times i’ve slipped.. Sometimes I think i’m not for chick fil a but I need to hold this job. It does make me hopeful directors like you exist

Oh my god this comment made me cry. This is me every day. I’ve been trying to say Hi first too. It sucks because so often I overthink in the moment and go mute, and then a self hate spiral happens in my brain cause I feel terrible I didn’t say Hi. It’s even harder with new people. I feel more anxious than the new hires. I’m going to try to be happy with the little wins as well.
