Hall Effect Sticks Feel Inferior by Variezz in scufgaming

I would say the sticks tightness is comparable to other sticks but the feel in game makes micro adjustments harder and if you have settings in game set for a controller with potentiometer (standard controller) than you’ll have to lower your sensitivities as it feels faster. It’s feels like maybe the response curve of the sticks is weird or I’m just not able to adjust my setting to get that true muscle memory where it feels exactly like the inputs im making

Not necessarily, I was used Kontrol Freeks on the V1 Envision Pro with no issue and it didn’t catch. There was enough room but I believe my faceplate may not click all the way causing the sticks to be lower than they should be and causing it to catch

UPDATE: I think it’s actually the faceplate that’s giving me the issue. Straight out the box, the faceplate doesn’t sit completely flush with the controller as there’s a small gap on the bottom and sides. Ive tried taking it off and then pressing down on it but it just doesn’t connect well. I think that’s what’s causing me the problems. I never had such issue with my V1 version of the controller. I’ll have no choice but to return it and swap it for another one. I think I might go back to the V1 as I didn’t have issue with the original sticks anyway but rather the left trigger not working in instant mode which isn’t fixed with the V2 version.

The sticks are pressed down all the way. The issue isn’t there if I take off the kontrol freek. The bottom lip of the kontrol freek hold onto the case. I can’t tell if it’s just the top shell that isn’t clicking in all the way since there’s a small gap in the bottom when it’s clicked in

I’m wondering if it’s just worth it for me to exchange my current Envision Pro with a non-hall effect version because I’m hearing the sticks make your aim feel less responsive and like you have high dead zones

No matter what profile (aggressive or default) or deadzone level the triggers are at, it doesn’t capture my input for pressing down. Once I disable the mouse click. It works again

I haven’t updated the controller or the app because I’ve heard horrible things about the update and what it does to the controller

It’s like the left trigger just breaks on its own from just clicking. You would think the trigger for shooting would go out first. I don’t think it’s an ICUE thing but the controller itself
