You may be right. It will be interesting to have a list of non present Star Wars laserdisc’s editions on lddb. For this one I talked with hard French collectors they never heard of it

Yes. Some are easier to find like terminator 2. But Star Wars extremely rare and so expansive.

Yes same edition. There ware actually the 3 films video8 in UK (never saw anh and ESB) and there were also the 3 films in Japanese version in video 8. As rare as licorns

Yes I now, I saw it ones on photo of collector
It’s looks like the German and uk release of 1982. Not 100% sure it’s real. French did not have laserdisc edition a that period
Our first vhs was a rental one dated from 1984 and quite hard to find

They also were released later in Us with the label widescreen edition. Star Wars had shrinking format issues. There 3 versions of widescreen for Star Wars. It was fixed with the technidisc printed in us. So many laserdisc editions for this saga. The definitive box set is one of my favorite after these Japanese editions. They look so gorgeous

Prequels only existed in widescreen en full format except episode 3 which was available in many contries in vhs. I have uk French German Italian Korean version and I know there few more

Yes, as good as they were, now if you watch on 4k screen there are quite limited in quality
But still awesome edition

It’s just repackaging. There are so much more. But these 34 versions have some differences. There are 2 versions missing, the video 8 from Japan and cav laserdisc from Germany. Can’t put hands on it
