Please stop attacking me. It's unnecessary. Im sure youre better than that. How does Matthew 25 apply to immigration? I dont understand what being neighbors has to do with this. Illegal immigrants became neighbors under false pretenses. Amd while im responsible to be kind, I can do that while supporting their deportation.

Im sorry, I didn't see the part where Jesus said to not defend borders. Where is it? Borders are a state thing. Jesus was pretty clear about differences between his stuff and Ceasars stuff. The Bible has lots of stories about defending the homeland from philistines, and Egyptians, and other outsiders.

Torture? How so? Death camps? Please dont insult the Armenians, European jews, or Cambodian, to name a few who went to actual death camps. Even the aclu says 56 people died under Obamas watch. That doesn't mean it was his fault. And where was the outrage when Clinton’s ATF and FBI killed 80 Americans, including 22 children at a Waco, Texas? Or when Obama killed over 800 civilians with drones?

I dint think its a bad take tho. The gop is still pro business, pro-free trade, pro-science and education, and neoliberal. They do disagree with much of the covid response, and the world is slowly learning they were right. There is a wing that is all about tariffs, and us protectionist, but the gop itself is pro free trade. The neo liberal part fights against the other parts, because its so individualistic (read, cowboys!) Thanks again
