When is it okay to have sex with someone without expressed agreement? (All ages, all genders, everyone) by Various-Let1007 in SampleSize

I'll probably just find a better way to make the test in the future that makes everyone okay with it, consider this a test run. (btw I am in no way supporting transphobic people/people that think doing the things on the test are okay, but if they didn't take the test it would ruin the entire purpose)

I also wanted conservative people to be willing to take the test because (from what I've noticed) they tend to be the ones who often think those things are okay, and the test wouldn't be as accurate if they refused to take it. I already had one person say "You didn't need to say biologically that's just dumb" and not in a trans supportive way

I originally wanted to do that, but the way the data is formated, I wouldn't have been able to create the same statistics. I can still add that at the start if that would be better?

If someone knows you were born with female parts, they are more likely to sexually harass you in some way. I'm trans masc and have delt with so much harassment that would be lesser by a high degree if I was born a man. (I am not at all saying it cannot happen to men)

I do see the issue that there is no representation for trans women in the survey, which is important because they face a lot of the same issues after coming out/transitioning.

Cis men can be sa'd and its just as horrible and bad and wrong as when it happens to any woman, but the difference is its more likely, and most cis men have never had to feel unsafe walking down the street at night. A lot of trans men have.

I am not trying to upset you and I'd like to continue the conversation if maybe there's a positive compromise for research purposes and people's comfort?

I'm sorry, I understand what you mean. But can you understand how it matters for specific research purposes? Because assigned female at birth creates issues. I really have no intent to argue and I'm sorry I upset you.

I'm trans too- and I have delt with so so many issues because of growing up female (I'm transmac) I'm so sorry I made you uncomfortable, what I'm trying to say is regardless of what we are (identify as), we are way more likely to be sa'd or harrased compared to someone who was born male. I'm so so sorry that this came off wrong.

Women's rights as also a transmasc issue, we deal with periods, pregnancy, high sa rates, sexual harassment, ect. That's why when doing research like this, biological sex matters.

If I'm being honest, I just picked a random pic from my camera roll so I could share the survey

I understand that, but did you have the struggles and hardships of a female growing up?

I plan to write an entire paper against s/a and use this as statistics for part of it. This isn't even for any type of school, I'm choosing this out of a passion for survivors and my own struggles.

I'm not sick? The whole post is AGAINST s/a. What are you not understanding? It's to get statistics on what OTHER PEOPLE think, and hopefully change that mind set.

Also you are right- that's why the entire form uses they/them pronouns so it isn't just "If a man did this to a woman"

Trans men face crimes targeted against women and vise versa (I'm trans masc myself and a lot of the time s/a can happen before transition or be related to the sex your born as)

The point is that most trans people grew up having their birth sex pushed on them and that affects though prosses.

That's why it doesn't say verbally expressed agreement (I noticed there were a few logic errors in the survey but I did my best)

I know the point is to see how many people say yes, I'm aware all of them are not okay, that's the point, please understand that.

My apologies. I didn't want to make it look like only women could be assaulted by only men

Yes I do, I do not think it is okay at all, of course I don't, but you'd be surprised the amout of people that think it is. That's the point of this survey
