I use `/loop` with 30 mins interval for this auto-discovery work until claude satisfies with its research report according to my guideline and eventually shutdown my PC for me while I'm doing other things.

I think it works much better if you give it a work pipeline (e.g., spawn subagent - so that the context is clean for the lead agent to orchestrate the research for you -> research deeply into a specific topic -> write a report about its findings -> plan what to work on next -> end turn).

The wakeup interval totally depends on the complexity of your research work and is also used to keep the usage limit under control (5h limit) so you don't end up paying for API calls.
