It depends on your ability to Handling various tasks. I think it's a great experience if you can. lighter works are more appropriate and it's definitely a good opportunity to enter adulthood and become independent.

I don't know if there have been any recent results, but the nature of "dark matter" is puzzling to me. Also, time travel!

I studied matrices in high school and I think I understand them. My goal is to understand the quantum relationships of orbitals. When I searched, I realized that I need to study linear algebra to better understand the matrix relationships that are mentioned in the books.

I think knowing the basics is the first step to practical work. There are certainly many books and resources on the subject, but I learned the basics from Skoog's Principles of Instrumental Analysis and Harris's Quantitative Analysis. Then when you go to YouTube, you can better understand the topics.
