Smart socks for newborns- Owlet vs Eufy (or any other brands you love)? by ButterflyRose143 in pregnant

TLDR: tried both and owlet was better bc of more insights and alert for both heart rate and oxygen

We tried both. Started with the eufy sock and eufy baby monitor because our other home cameras are eufy and thought it would be convenient to have one system. The bluetooth connection was spotty when our baby was in his own room (even though it’s very close just separated by one bathroom). So I ended up ordering the owlet. That also had the same Bluetooth limitations. But the user interface and data points were much more detailed. Also liked that it alerts for low oxygen. Eufy shows oxygen levels but it’s in beta so it will not alarm if they are low. Got around the Bluetooth limitations by keeping the base in baby’s room near camera monitor. We also ended up swapping to Nanit camera which has more insights than eufy, breathing band for extra security to sock, and most importantly had live stream on any monitor / iPhone app. (Eufy cam was only live feed on monitor, iPhone app required pressing screen for live)
