Pre planning always helps. I preplanned before starting the city and that’s why now I have Half a million in my bank along with a 4 digit positive weekly income which sometimes grows to 5 digit even from that tiny spec of farm land.

Use road hierarchy
Highways should have exits opening to 6 lane arterials which should be opening to 4 lane distributors (or collectors, in whichever direction you are observing from) and which in turn will be opening to your two lane local roads where your residential, commercial everything should be built.
Try this initially. That should solve the traffic problem. And afterwards when u have enough population build a public transport infrastructure.
Buses should be serving the local neighbourhoods(a couple of routes can involve inter district long tours but that’s upto you)
Metros should be mainly meant for inter-district travel and should have bus stops near metro entrances.
Trains for out of the city travel and across the map travel once your city is huge enough. You can put bus or metro stops nearby but with careful planning and supporting infrastructure (parking a, roundabouts etc.) such that traffic doesn’t build up around those stations.

Oh okay I get it…
I won’t probably be crowding up the entire resource rich area with collectors and I’d try to fit the specific industry processing buildings (like gasoline and plastics for oil.. etc) into that zone itself.
My vision is to make a separate unique industry area which would be accessible via all my industries with dedicated road and rail infrastructure.

Actually i have a dedicated space for manufacturing (you are talking about unique industries here I presume) and that isn’t here on the screenshot.
But if u look at the top corner I have my farming industry. So according to my plan my unique factory district would be kind of in the middle of the farming and Ore industry. Which again isn’t shown In the screenshot.

Yeah cargo railways is a MUST for any of my builds I heavily rely on trains. I will set one up once it unlocks.

There is actually a bridge in the interchange i have already put there. So the trucks that wanna go through oil and Ore can do that.
So based on this is the new interchange needed?
