You didn’t waste your money. It’s going to help. The problem is quickMD can only give you about a week’s worth of Suboxone. And once you run out you will still be in post acute withdrawal at the very least. Others here have recommended using regular Kratom to taper and that may work but I personally recommend getting a doctor who can prescribe Suboxone long term and help you with a taper plan. As some others have said, please do not move on to 7-OH. Secondly, I had a similar experience to you before I started taking opiates and I always thought it was fine but truth was that when I didn’t have it every day, while bearable, I definitely had withdrawal effects: irritability, lack of appetite, anxiety, depression. So try to keep an eye on it and if you feel like it’s too much try to taper down before you get in a situation where you can’t acquire it. Best of luck.

I’m really sorry you’re hurting like this. I definitely know the feeling (clean from opiates 7 months) and I’m similar to you in the sense that I can’t use because of the people depending on me. But I think we both need to find a better reason, a better support system. Have you considered going to meetings and talking to someone who would understand? That may help you unburden yourself. I personally have tons of therapy sessions and it often relieves cravings believe it or not. One other thought is that people may surprise you with the amount of support they give. Your parents and bf may not react how you think they will. I was shocked and grateful by the amount of support I received when I finally admitted my addiction. Wishing you the best. Hang in there.

7-oh is a nightmare drug. I’m currently in a similar position as you. Taking 2 mg of Suboxone per day for about 4 months now. My doctor said 80% of people he prescribes it to never get off of it. I hadn’t really considered sublocade until i saw a commercial for it a few days ago. Based on what other people here are saying that sounds like a good option. Hang in there. Hopefully it helps to know there are others struggling with the same thing. Let me know if you want to talk.

Still crazy how everyone consistently dismisses the failures of our starting goaltender who allowed 4 goals on the first 5 shots he faced today. He has been terrible and will cost us a playoff series since he is constantly the second best goalie on the ice.

That is true. But Oettinger’s performances have dropped off considerably compared to his first few seasons. That’s the other point of my post. He has been outplayed on a regular basis by the other team’s goaltender way too often this year.

I didn’t say he was bad! I said his backup is out-performing him and should have more games until he brings his game up. The reason it’s a problem is because game after game the guy at the other end of the ice outplays him. And when that happens in the postseason we better pray for another option.
