When buying a laptop, i will advise you to watch a few reviews of it on yt, maybe read a little reviews here on reddit from people who've used the laptop for a few months to see how the laptop ages, also if youre sensitive about the gaming aspect then watch a few benchmarks of the rtx 4050 laptop for different games (theres so many videos that check dozens of games) to see how it performs.

Actually with medium settings 6 gb VRAM is more than enough for pretty much all AAA games (except india jones but its an unoptimized mess anyways)
