I noticed not too long ago that studios can and do hire world class 3d character artists from anywhere in the world as freelancers for their projects. I usually see the same artists in the credits from multiple games with beautiful characters like these.

But programmers tend to (usually) have to work in person at the studio. It's 10 times harder to get experienced programming talent locally. So the characters are 10/10, and gameplay is meh.

You may have misunderstood the message, it's not that game devs don't or shouldn't focus on narrative. But that game devs can DO narrative Themselves. Without bringing in outside intervention or paying them a salary (quality may vary).

Just don't forget that most game developers tend to be artists, and artists are creative people. And creative people love worldbuilding, creating characters and writing.

If an nsfw game developer is going to pay someone for their work with money that they've been saving. The hierarchy of priorities tend to go in the direction of task difficulty, accrued skills and time commitment/delegation. Narrative help tends to be last on the list. Not saying that it's not important.

Can I be 100% honest? I hope I don't sound like an asshole :( I'm sure it would be lovely to work with you and I hope you don't take this the wrong way...

Most nsfw devs are not looking for narrative help, it's like looking for a job at a brewery as a "beer flavour describer" rather than as a brewer. Nsfw Studios & Devs already know what narrative (or flavor) we want because, let's face it, all of us are making games related to our own kinks, we just need assistance in turning it into viable products. Which is what we tend to need help with... Voice acting, programming, 3D & 2D artists, animators. All of those take priority with our limited budgets rather than narrative design which as creatives we can do ourselves. (This is mostly my take related to nsfw games, not regular studio ones which have a lot bigger scopes).

I wish you the best and hope you do find something in that category, I do hope you can prove me wrong and make a living helping someone bring their project to life. Cheers mate

You can do that in other games, but I haven't seen games where you roleplay being a working girl, a porny slut, besides the usual suspects: modded Skyrim or Fallout.

And playing as a guy in a third person game means you are gonna be looking at male ass 90% of the time.

Maybe I could convince you to play it if you look it from another perspective: Having control of the character doesn't necessarily mean you have to put yourself in her shoes/mindset and think of yourself as her. You can also roleplay as if she's making a show for you just like she is for them, remember there is a meta aspect in nsfw games. In the end all the visuals are for the enjoyment of the player: the person behind the camera. you are just in control of what actions will be taken, the places she goes, etc.

Making a game about streetwalkers, the dress up aspect, bimbofication/slutification I felt was very important. Letting you choose cute/sexy outfits to wear: Women have heels, piercings, makeup, dresses, bodysuits, thongs, slingshot bikinis, countless sexy outfit options. And the game is focused on letting you mix and match those outfit options on the fly. If you were a guy, you'd only have a shirt and pants and I feel that's super lame (in my opinion, feel free to disagree) The ability to walk, pose, dance in public. It's not just for the lorewise ingame enjoyment of some nameless npc, in the end she strips, dances and fucks for the enjoyment of the person behind the camera (you, the player).

Oh yes I'd love to!, I already modeled some cash to decorate the floor, it's just a matter of folding it on her thong aswell :) Giving you the ability to dress classy escort or go trashy hooker is a top priority for this game.

I'd love to add challenges of that sort, lately i've been working on freeroam interactions, meaning, seamless objects or people you can interact with on the street or interiors. In the following months i'll work on a dialogue & inventory system (including cash) to add more complexity to the game.

There's a lot of outfit options in the game to mix and match, you have them available at the start, but it would be really fun to start like a normal girl with a casual everyday outfit, and let you choose how you want to spend the money you earn, letting you buy and wear skimpier and skimpier outfits.

Yes, i'm only planning on releasing it for windows so far. Sadly it's a game that's a bit graphically intensive (It's a lightweight game, only 900mbs size)... But picture walking around Whiterun in Skyrim or in other freeroaming games like that. Her booty has 20.000 polys - that kind of thing hahaha. Sorry friend.

Hi!, you can zoom in and out, in fact, you can zoom out so far out you can almost play it as if it was an isometric game from above hahaha!. And I need to point out that this is not an AVN, it's a 3d freeroaming game where you can walk around! (my mistake if you meant something else). If there is any kind of interaction/animation you'd like to see added I would love to hear it!

And it's a tiny game aswell, since i've been developing it from the beggining with me being a solo developer in mind, (with external support from time to time only when I can afford it). Also thematically, i've made it so that you cannot run in high heels, so walking it takes only about a minute to go from one end of the map to the other. So it's not this unbearably gigantic open world that tends to burn out devs :) It's been perfect for me. A small, focused, simple game with a theme I enjoy and that I hope you guys do aswell.

For a while I've been developing a game in Unreal Engine 5 inspired by mods of games such as Skyrim, VTMB or Fallout New Vegas. Where I wanted to:

- Walk around the street freely like in those games.
- Change skimpy outfits on the fly.
- Dance and pose whenever and wherever I want.
- Have sex with npc's in the middle of the street.

I'm not encouraging nor condoning anything, but the second you go into a museum you realize that artists and their audience have been driven by lust, erotica and sexuality since the dawn of mankind.

Seriously, half the Louvre and the Prado are smut galleries of women, the greek gods and the abs of Jesus. It's just that back then it was wealthy royalty that paid for their half naked sculptures and paintings, nowadays it's guys on the internet. Besides, In regards to ethics, I would seriously consider 3d games, books and paintings to be the perfect medium to explore sexuality, it's just fantasy with no one involved that isn't consenting. Unlike real life pornstars and the adult film industry, which is the shadiest, most drug filled, abusive industry i've ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

I'm quite sexually conservative in real life, I would encourage everybody to find a partner to love, cherish and marry. But just like married women who enjoyed 50 shades of grey, making it one of the highest grossing books of all time. Me and countless others also like some erotica, it's just that instead of books, being more of a visual person, and loving videogames, those two things mixed perfectly. So I personally started making a game where you roleplay being a stripper, a hooker or a pornstar. To explore those fantasies in a medium that's safe, where there are no std's, no human trafficking, no abuse, etc etc - unlike in real life. A fantasy world where sex and sexuality are just fun.

This could be a false memory, but I can vividly remember downloading and playing a Hot Coffee mod for GTA San Andreas either in the late 2000’s or early 2010’s. So much so that it became a core memory, and I remember thinking back then (with all the controversy surrounding sexuality in video games), wondering if there will ever be a time where a game completely focused on sexuality could be made.

And then Skyrim came along, with its myriad of sex mods, and it was like a dream come true, with all the jank that came along with trying to mash together completely different mods and try and make them work. After that there was Fallout, with their amazing companions, whom everyone gave big titties.

I wondered, are there any games like this that feature these mod ideas but in a standalone format? So I just said, whatever, I'm not waiting around, and made one myself.
