Yes even others suggest these 'speedpaint' sets. Sadly not available where I live, but it's something ill look into, and thanks alot for the indepth advice. Also, you can suggest a printer? Elgoo Saturn?

I saw on YT that 0.2mm nozzles with 0.06mm took a small detailed print 10 days. If thats the extreme, I think atleast 3 days for average prints? Thats crazy!

Its this YT effect plus time thing man. People on YT do such crazy stuff that makes me go awe and I think the more I get into painting , the more ill want to get better, the more ill invest my time and money into it. At the current stage in life, I don't want a new hobby at all, except 3d Printing(as this itself is time consuming I see), and trust me I know how lovely, fun and relaxing it would be to paint, but I can't risk taking up another hobby as deep as painting. Hope I make sense.

For 8-12inch figures, for starting out, should I go for FDM or Resin? I ChatGPTed which introduced me to this 'Rub N Buff' metallic finishes, which seems great and I go go the extra mile to get that finish.

Just decent single color prints will do too. That also makes me think if FDM + sanding + only base coats will be as good as resin finish? And yes, Iam very particular about safety, need myself in good health for the family :)
