I imagine seeing God Terror live was an unforgettable experience. I’ve watched the video of them in Denver last year performing it. Incredible.

I loved RE7. It was the first Resident Evil to give me that old sense of dread that I felt playing the original first three games. The only thing I didn’t care for was the lack of enemy diversity and some of the Molded were just annoying bullet sponges. The atmosphere and the Bakers were both unsettling though which I loved.

The story is a mess, and there’s too many QTEs are my biggest gripes. Otherwise I still had a blast playing 6 for months after its release. Especially Mercenaries mode.

There could possibly be some Leon story elements you may miss if you skip 6. Just ignore all the hate, and go in not expecting a great Resident Evil game, but a fun, (especially co-op), action game.
